Ali Saeeide
Yoga Instructor
For more than fifteen years, teaching Rumi’s Masnavi has been the central focus of my educational and academic work. During this time, I have taught and interpreted the Masnavi at various cultural and educational centres in London, including Colet House, always aiming to make this profound work accessible, practical, and relevant to contemporary life.
I completed my university studies in Graphic Design and Medical Laboratory Sciences in Iran, and later earned a Master’s degree in Psychology in the United Kingdom. This diverse academic background has deepened my understanding of literature, spirituality, and human psychology.
Alongside my teaching, I am a poet, author, and researcher. I have published a collection of poetry and have written articles and research papers on Rumi’s Masnavi and Islamic mysticism.
I have also been active in Persian calligraphy for many years and have served as a representative of the Iranian Calligraphers Association in London.
I believe that the Masnavi is not merely a literary masterpiece, but a profound guide to self-discovery, awareness, inner peace, and spiritual growth. Through my classes, my aim is to create an inspiring space in which students can develop a deeper understanding of Rumi’s teachings and explore how his wisdom can be meaningfully applied to life today
